LET IT SNOW!!!

It is snowing bucketfuls today...enough that both Hubby and I were excused from work! This NEVER happens!

The kids have been chomping at the bit to wear their new snow stuff, and play with the sled and snowball/snowfort maker that Aunt Tracey sent them for Christmas. Today they will finally get their chance!

It will be fun to bundle up LB and see what he thinks of it all. He has had a rough go of it, with a week of RSV infection last week (lots of late night rocking, snuggling, and breathing treatments), and cutting 3 new teeth all at once! He has also decided that he will no longer allow himself to be spoon fed, so we're deep into the wonderful world of self-feeding table food. He is slowly discovering that losing patience and giving up on the process makes for a hungry belly later!

I had so many funny things to share about the kids...but the RA has really been kicking my butt this week and now that I feel up to blogging, I can't remember them. :-( Maybe they will come back.

I am also still in a bit of shock that a dear lady from church, Peggy, passed away yesterday. I have always looked up to her with her dignity and grace and dogged faith in spite what seemed like never-ending trials. I wish I could have told her so. I can praise the Lord that her body is now healed, though. I can't wait to see her whole and healthy in Heaven some day...
